Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner
Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner is a game that features Raidou, a male high school student of Yumizuki High School who is transformed into the Devil Sommoner of the Kuzuniha Family. Raidou doesn’t talk much, instead he stealthily goes around the Capital, just like a detective, incarcerating demons in tubes and eventually using them to fight and attack enemies.
There are two distinct modes of play in this game. Mode one is based in the standard human world and the second is based on the dark realm of which demons dwell. Raidou tracks down persons of interest and tries to find leads in the standard human world, In the dark realm is where the majority of the battles exist that can be associated with what some reviewers of the game describe as “a Pokemon type of recruiting demons” to assist him in his investigations.
The game involves a lot of negotiations with demons in an attempt for Raidou to get them to join his team, they are then used primarily for combat but some are used to do scouting on the game map and to read people’s minds and even disguises Raidou as someone else.
The game shows the fast pace mode of each battle. For the player, he/she can always press the button and Raidou will always seem to do what he is told and same goes with the demons associated with him. Of course, Shin Megami Devil Summoner has its own difficulty curves that might let you feel you should be working hard for each victory. The games also has a great soundtrack, and good graphics which adds to the enjoyment of the game.
