Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne is a role-playing game for the PlayStation 2. It’s the third main game in the Megami Tensei series. The series and its distinct spin-off properties feature tales of a modern-day Tokyo in which the player takes control of a half-human and half-demon silent protagonist. The protagonist is often referred to as the “Demi-fiend” and is in the original Japanese version as “Hitoshura”. A mysterious supernatural forces that unleashes demonic entities to seriously afflict the natural order of things, great traditional fantasy / sci-fi storytelling; simply bringing hell to your front door. So now the fate of the entire world lies on the shoulders of the player, who must battle his way through demonic forces to bring order to the world or possibly become the omen of global devastation. This sets Nocturne apart in the world of assuage role-playing games since it exhibits a recruitment system that virtually enables any enemy you meet and fight to be transformed to battle at your side. It also pervades both strategic depth and stiff challenges. But really, the most rewarding experience is when you successfully beat the hordes of demons and punishing bosses you’ll come across while the dark story unfolds. Nocturne doesn’t let you get lazy instead you’ll have to stay on your toes and constantly adjust your tactics to keep yourself from suffering a brutal defeat.
